Our SABC is dying, and our democracy with it. Political interference, censorship and unspeakably bad administration are killing OUR public broadcaster. We, the people, must act radically, and act now!In 1994 we were building an SABC we could be proud of. Today, our SABC is, yet again, unfree. We are being denied an independent, credible and people-driven public broadcaster.
We have three big questions:
- Why is our SABC falling apart?
- Who benefits from a dysfunctional SABC?
- What is to be done?
