Performing Arts Education and Training Needs Analysis Feedback Session

Performing Arts Training & Education Development Needs Research Feedback Session, 19 June 2015, in The Blue Room at the City Hall from 10:00 to 12:30. The City put out a call in 2014 for a service provider to research the training and education development needs within the performing arts sector, we are now in possession of this information and want to share it with you so that the sector can take the research forward in practical ways.

Arts, Culture and Heritage Focus Group

CATHSSETA is in the process of hosting Research Focus Groups Sessions with various sub-sectors within its scope.

The purpose of these sessions is to review and update its Sector Skills Plan (SSP) which is a key document that provides an overview of the sectors within CATHSSETA scope. The document gives an analysis of the demand for and supply of skills to the sector and, on the basis of this analysis, determines the skills needs and development priorities for the sector.

Novalis Ubuntu Institute Integration Dialogues Conference

The Novalis Ubuntu Institute in partnership with The Ubuntu Academy is hosting the Intergeneration Dialogues Conference on Monday 15 June 2015. The Novalis Ubuntu Institute is an organization that provides Adult Education programmes in holistic education. The Ubuntu Academy is a place of inspiration for young, talented people who want to make a difference in their own life and that of others. The conference theme is Reawakening the spirit of Ubuntu across generations and is targeting an audience of four generations of elders and youth who will exchange ideas and share their knowledge and experiences relating to the theme of the day.
