MUSE AWARDS
AN AWARD FOR WRITERS BY WRITERS
The WGSA Muse Awards, launched by the Writers’ Guild of South Africa (WGSA), is the only award in the country that honours the South African Performance Writer exclusively based on their scripts, and allows the local content production industry to celebrate and promote the creativity, quality and writing excellence of local writers.
PRODUCED and UNPRODUCED scripts will be accepted for the 2016 WGSA Muse Awards in eight different script categories:
- SCREEN (Feature Film, Short Film)
- TELEVISION (Drama, Soap, Sitcom/Comedy)
- Documentary (Feature, Series, Short)
- Stage Play
- Radio Drama
- Animation (Feature, Series, Short)
- Games
- Web Series

ANNOUNCEMENT OF FINALISTS:

GOOD NEWS for DFA and ASA Members
If you are a paid up member of either the DFA (Documentary Filmmakers Association) and / or ASA (Animation South Africa), you may submit your entry. Instead of using a membership number, just enter DFA member or ASA member. Please note that your membership with DFA / ASA will be verified.
