Infinity Films is an established production house based in Stellenbosch and has written and produced series like The Book Club and Fine Print for kykNET. We are seeking scriptwriters for a new dramedy of 26 episodes. Each episode will be between 24 – 28 minutes. The series is centered around characters in their early 30’s with a strong female protagonist. It’s light, with lots of heart, love, comedy and romance.
The project will run from December
2020 to March 2021. Writers must preferably be Afrikaans but English writers
will also be considered. Any writers are welcome to apply but preference will
be given to writers with TV experience. We are looking for strong writers who
can develop story and has control over both structure and dialogue. Speed, an
eye for detail and dependability is also of absolute importance.

a writer’s biography and a short motivating paragraph on why you would like to
be part of the project. Also include a 10 – 20 page sample script, formatted as
per industry standards.
We can also expect you to write a
test script for the series. Writers will be compensated as per the WGSA
